A big thank you to our wonderful hosts Dana, Irina, and the entire ICMPP team for organising such a successful event.

All COMPAS partners gathered in Iasi on 2–3 July for the second project meeting, followed by the first Review Meeting on 4 July. We are delighted to share that the project officer and both reviewers expressed strong satisfaction with the draft periodic report submitted last week, as well as with the presentations delivered during the review.

The project meeting itself proved highly productive, providing an excellent forum for partners to exchange results, update progress, and plan the next steps.

Daniel, the project coordinator, noted: “With most partners present in Iasi, we had the chance to dig into the details and ensure that WP leaders fully understood and could present the underlying work. It was also fantastic to have so many additional participants joining online to strengthen the presentations. This was a real demonstration that, with enough will, one can indeed reverse entropy!”

Researchers from eleven partners gathered to review and discuss the progress of COMPAS with Advisory Board.

Daniel Wright took part in a joint meeting with EU projects PurPest, React and Bexyl​Topic was to increase collaboration between projects​. Leaders and members from the PurPest, COMPAS, REAT, and BeXyl projects held a joint digital meeting to strengthen and formalise their collaborations.

Discussion focused on synergies and common interests identifying shared topics, opportunities, and future steps to maintain and expand our international cooperation network.
